Accounting Analyst

Job Summary

The Accounting Analyst is responsible for managing and analyzing financial data, ensuring accuracy in accounting records, and supporting financial reporting and compliance activities. This role plays a key part in maintaining the integrity of financial statements and improving accounting processes.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform complex account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies
• Support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing processes
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards (GAAP/IFRS) and company policies
• Coordinate with internal and external auditors during audits
• Maintain accurate and organized financial records and documentation
• Support process improvements and system implementations
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (finance, controlling, operations)

• Education

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting

• Professional Experience

• relevant accounting experience
• Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting
• Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel (e.g., pivot tables, VLOOKUP)
• Experience with ERP systems (SAP)
• Knowledge of tax regulations and compliance requirements is a plus
• Professional certifications (CRC) is a plus

• Languages

• English: Advanced (preferred)
• Portuguese: Native
• Additional languages are considered a plus
