Quality Engineering Internship-Summer 2027

AUMOVIO is seeking a Quality Engineering Intern to join our team for Summer 2027 at our automotive manufacturing facility in New Braunfels, Texas. This internship provides an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while developing a broad understanding of Quality Engineering.

This internship is a full-time, on-site opportunity designed to provide meaningful learning experiences and professional development. This internship position is scheduled to last 12 weeks in length from May 17, 2027-August 6, 2027. 

RESPONSIBILITIES

• Assist the Plant Quality team with new products documentation verification.
• Support Process Audits as required by the Quality team.
• Power BI dashboard set up for quality.
• Support other Quality Engineering duties and projects as assigned.

OUTCOMES

The Quality Engineering Intern can expect to gain practical experience in a broad range of Quality focused functions including:

• Training on Power BI and practical use of it.
• Experience on OEM CSR (customer specific requirements).
• Application of CSR in processes and products.
• Experience working for a global industry leader.
• Experience commonly reports for the manufacturing plants to other locations.

Required

• Currently enrolled in an accredited college or university.
• Pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial, Mechanical, Electrical or other related studies.
• Minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Legal authorization to work in the United States is required. AUMOVIO will not sponsor individuals for employment visas for this position now or in the future.
• Relocation assistance is not available for this opportunity.

Preferred

• Prior internship or work experience in Quality Engineering or other Engineering related fields. 
• Experience working in a team-oriented environment.
• Exposure to manufacturing, operations, or industrial environments.
• Interest in pursuing a career in Quality Engineering. 
• Experience with data analysis, reporting, or process improvement initiatives.
