Metrology Laboratory Technician

The Metrology Laboratory Technician is responsible for performing dimensional measurements, calibration activities, and laboratory testing to ensure that products and components meet defined specifications and quality standards.

This professional supports manufacturing and quality teams by executing measurement routines, maintaining metrology equipment, and ensuring compliance with internal procedures, customer requirements, and applicable quality standards.

The role requires working in rotating shifts to ensure laboratory support for production and quality activities.

• Technical degree in Metrology, Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Technology, or related fields.
• Experience in metrology laboratory or dimensional inspection activities.
• Knowledge of measurement instruments and dimensional inspection techniques.
• Familiarity with quality standards such as ISO 9001 and IATF 16949 is desirable.
• Ability to interpret technical drawings and GD&T.
• Basic knowledge of quality tools and problem-solving methodologies is an advantage.
• Good analytical skills, attention to detail, and teamwork.
• Availability to work in shifts.
