Mechanical Engineer – HPC (High-Performance Computer) Systems & Liquid Cooling in Architecture and Network Solutions | AUMOVIO Korea

Role Overview

The Mechanical Engineer is responsible for the mechanical architecture and liquid cooling design of high-power HPC (High-Performance Computer) systems in automotive environments.

This role covers end-to-end mechanical ownership from requirement engineering to validation and production readiness and ensure technical deliverables.

 
Key Responsibilities

  • Lead mechanical requirement engineering and negotiate specifications with OEM customers
  • Own the customer interface for all mechanical engineering topics
  • Define and develop HPC mechanical architecture, including vehicle integration and thermal concepts
  • Design and validate liquid cooling solutions for high heat dissipation systems
  • Manage mechanical & thermal simulations (shock, vibration, thermal performance)
  • Coordinate technical activities with internal cross-functional teams and external partners
  • Support prototype build, testing, and industrialization readiness

Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
  • Strong experience in requirement engineering, test planning, and validation processes
  • Hands-on experience with automotive ECU mechanical design
  • Proven expertise in liquid cooling and thermal management (e.g., cold plate, flow distribution, sealing concepts)
  • Experience with high-power HPC systems is a strong plus
  • Familiarity with automotive standards (e.g., vibration, IP rating, environmental validation) is preferred
