ANS_S4_Local PM

We are seeking a talented and experienced Local Project Manager (PM) to join our team in Yokohama, Japan. As a Local PM, you will be responsible for planning, executing, and closing projects while ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to drive project success in our Yokohama office.

• Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, and budgets for local initiatives
• Lead and motivate project teams to achieve objectives and meet deadlines
• Communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders at all levels
• Manage project resources, including team members and vendors
• Conduct risk assessments and develop mitigation strategies
• Ensure project deliverables meet quality standards and client expectations
• Facilitate meetings and workshops to drive project progress
• Collaborate with other departments to align project goals with organizational objectives
• Adapt project management methodologies to suit local business practices and culture
• Monitor project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
• Prepare and present project reports and documentation

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Engineering, or related field
• Minimum 5 years of project management experience, preferably in Japan
• Project Management Professional (PMP) certification preferred
• Proficiency in project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall)
• Strong skills in using project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Jira, Trello)
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills in both Japanese and English
• Demonstrated leadership abilities and experience managing cross-functional teams
• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills
• Proven track record of successfully delivering projects on time and within budget
• In-depth knowledge of local business practices and regulations in Japan
• Understanding of Japanese work culture and communication styles
• Ability to adapt to changing priorities and manage multiple projects simultaneously
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Experience in stakeholder management and client relations
