Advanced Purchaser (Global Coordinator)

工作职责

Advanced Purchaser (AP) is the purchasing representative from aquisition phase through the product development starting with the concept phase until SOP and support  purchasing activities in series production. AP is leading the planning and execution of component sourcing and act as the interface to the purchasing categories. AP actively participate in the material strategy development derived from the BA technology roadmap and translate this in a tangible strategy input for category management. 

Work location: Changchun or Shanghai

Meeting participants mainly from global team:

-Global category in Germany and China

-Platform developer and manager from Germany and other European locations

-Global Program Manager from Europe

-APs from regions depending on demand (optional)

– Global Contact Matrix Key contact to global platform development:

-Early involvement in new material/technology development

-PUR Feedback to decision maker(s)

-Definition of global introduction scenario

-Steering global roll-out Continuous monitoring of the supply base of give Key Component:

-Status of all current suppliers -Global volume share of key suppliers

-Regional specific requirements on key components

-Definition of supply base strategy for 3-5 years

-Alignment with Product Line leader and PUR management Base on the defined strategy:

-Searching for new suppliers -Evaluation of new suppliers based on business needs

-Coordinating CAT PUR and SQM to introduce targeted suppliers Global Key Component Coordinator is:

-Hosting an overview of all ongoing sourcings on Key Component in all regions

-Releasing with other Shareholders the key component sourcing

-Steering the sourcing decision inline with the defined supply base strategy
