EDI Consultant

工作职责

  • Provides functional and technical support for EDI based on defined/required timeline. 
  • Develop and implement EDI mapping between SAP and external systems (as needed) based on business partner requirements following Global strategy/template. 
  • Investigate, monitor and resolve simple to complex issues and requests that are submitted by users through ticketing and service requests.  Handle changes as needed for high/urgent priority issues.
  • Manage a given project role assignment and multiple projects at various steps: fit-gap analysis, realization, acceptance testing, go live preparation and execution and stabilization with supervision.
  • Document  test cases and results according to Business requirements.
  • Collaborates effectively with Business, Key Users, and other IT Stakeholders
  • Proactive, solution-oriented and committed to continuous improvements
  • Conduct training on new functionalities available. Able to share some of the best practices/know-how as needed.
  • Participate to global team meetings, workshops, trainings, ad-hoc alignment meetings
  • Participate in  company initiatives

职位要求

  • University degree in IT, Computer Science, Business or related field
  • Minimum 3 years related EDI experience, particularly in handling standard EDI (ANSI, X12, EDIFACT) message formats relevant to SAP (call-offs, ASNs, Invoices)
  • Basic knowledge of scripting in UNIX/LINUX environment.
  • Background in Archiving and Retrieval Solution (usage, handling, job activation)
  • Exposure on IT Project and Support Management. 
  • Very good English language skills (spoken and written); cross-cultural competence; proven assertiveness and problem-solving abilities. 
  • Documentation (i.e. functional/technical specification, training manuals, test procedures)
  • Knowledge of ITIL (i.e. service management and change requests)
  • Amenable to travel outside Philippines
