Customs Facilitation Project Leader

Náplň práce

The Customs Facilitation Project Leader will analyze, design, develop and implement applications and systems, using high standards of quality, according to company guidelines and accomplish the customer’s requirements. Customers could be from part of the Customs team, operations or any administrative location from the Organization.
Simplify the process of the CFT team, doing automated system solutions than permit the optimization of the resources and allow improvement.
Provide services to the team, active contact with software suppliers and with the staff of software providers to support the assurance of on time delivery of software products to the customer. 

Main Functions:

  • Help in the automation of repetitive tasks and processes through systems or RPA solutions.
  • Manage and administrate the systems that have already been implement for the correct operation and good performance.
  • Collaborate in the design and implementation of external developments that directly or indirectly involve internal personnel and represent critical services for our clients.
  • Plan and develop work plans based on the activities designated by the central CFT team.
  • Evaluate new software or hardware tools that can improve or streamline the daily work.
  • Keep Organization’s standard application development methodologies updated and propose the use of new tools and information structures in accordance with technological advances Support with SAP topics.
  • Automation of processes related to the area: Macros, programming, databases, automatic process; derived from, application such as SAP, Excel reports and central systems.
  • Support to service providers with technical topics about connections; Computer configuration, users accounts, network access and Cisco VPN connectivity.
  • Working with Local It in administration and maintenance of the local servers as; Web Applications, database administration and optimization, local resources.
  • KPI's maintenance for Customs practice in Latin America in Power BI format.

Profil kandidáta

  • The position can be based in either Guadalajara or Silao
  • International Trade, with experience in business information systems.
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience in Customs, Logistics, Compliance.
  • Advanced in Customs Legislation
  • Experienced in SAP and Business Warehouse
  • Strong skills using Power BI
  • Strong Project Management skills
  • Project Management and systems solutions
  • Strong negotiating skills, persuasion and communication skills
  • Creativity, reliability, integrity, teamwork, operates with global perspective
  • Willingness to travel 
  • Advanced English
