Data Architect (m/f/div) - Automotive Finance & Controlling

We are looking for a highly skilled Finance & Controlling Enterprise Solution Architect to join our team. In this pivotal role, you will design, validate, and implement scalable financial and controlling solutions that ensure technical feasibility, seamless system integration, and process automation. Acting as a bridge between business needs and technological capabilities, you will play a key role in shaping robust architectures that align with enterprise standards and strategic goals.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and validate end-to-end financial and controlling solution architectures.
• Translate business and regulatory requirements into scalable system concepts.
• Define process flows and ensure reliable implementation across ERP and adjacent systems.
• Assess technical constraints and define integration patterns for complex environments.
• Guide configuration and development activities to ensure technical feasibility.
• Drive process automation and system optimization for performance and security.
• Ensure compliance with enterprise architecture standards and strategic objectives.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to align solutions with business and regulatory needs.
• Leverage deep technical expertise or strong finance/controlling domain knowledge to deliver fit-for-purpose solutions.

Education & Experience

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
• Several years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
  • Finance & Controlling processes (e.g., accounting, cost controlling).
  • Enterprise or Solution Architecture for ERP or adjacent systems.
  • IT development or system integration in complex enterprise environments.
• Proven ability to design and implement scalable solutions that bridge business and technology.

Technical Skills

• Deep understanding of ERP systems (SAP FI/CO or similar) and integration with adjacent applications;
• Experience with cloud-based ERP solutions (SAP S/4HANA, Oracle, etc.);
• Knowledge of system integration patterns, data flows, and API-based architectures;
• Familiarity with process automation tools and workflow optimization using Python & SQL;
• Strong grasp of performance tuning, and enterprise architecture frameworks.

Domain Expertise

• Solid knowledge of financial accounting, controlling processes, and regulatory compliance.
• Ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.

Soft Skills

• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Ability to work cross-functionally and bridge business and IT teams

Language

• English: fluent (written and spoken)
