Purchaser Specialist or Category Buyer
Responsabilități
- Manage the supplier portfolio for the plant’s specific categories within SAM (Safety and Motion).
- Analyze price adjustment requests and conduct negotiations to ensure the most competitive pricing for the company.
- Identify opportunities for cost reductions, aiming to achieve the financial targets established in the budget.
- Support the implementation of changes requested by the Engineering and Quality departments.
- Assist the advanced purchasing team by conducting negotiations during the sourcing process and nominating suppliers for plant-specific commodities and categories.
- Develop new suppliers for plant-specific commodities.
- Prepare NSI (New Supplier Introduction) documentation and monitor progress until the action plan is fully completed, where applicable.
- Ensure compliance with VDA 6.3 when an NSI (New Supplier Introduction) is approved, guaranteeing supply quality.
- Participate in logistics and quality discussions when scheduled, representing the commercial area and contributing to business-focused solutions.
- Follow the Global Automotive Procurement Process.
- Join alignment meetings with global category teams.
Cerințe
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
- Fluent English
- Previous experience in the role
