The Head of Business Center Driver Assistance & Safety assumes a pivotal role in leading a department with a specific focus. This position carries substantial responsibilities, including:
- Overseeing and managing designated cost centers with P&L responsibility
- Bearing full responsibility for concept development, prototype creation, and series production within the framework of client projects
- Providing strategic leadership to employees and management (Lead Leaders), fostering a culture of excellence and continuous improvement
- Identifying and capitalizing on new business opportunities to drive departmental growth and company success
- Authorizing technical approvals for the department, ensuring adherence to the highest standards of quality and safety
- Actively promoting the department's products and elevating the profile of both the department and the company in the industry

The ideal candidate for this critical role must possess the following qualifications:
- Extensive Leadership Experience: A minimum of 2 years as a Technical Project Leader (TPL) or in an equivalent position within the automotive or electronics sector, demonstrating "self-leadership" capabilities.
- Project Management Expertise: experience in projects encompassing planning, budgeting, structural development, and technical leadership.
- Proven Track Record: At least 10 years of relevant professional experience, with a significant portion in leadership roles.
- Multidisciplinary Project Involvement: Participation in multidisciplinary projects is mandatory.
- Cross-Functional Expertise: Demonstrated work experience in at least two of the following disciplines: Electrical Engineering (EE), Mechanical Engineering (ME), Software (SW), Systems Engineering (SYS), or Production.
- Leadership Acumen: A minimum of 2 years of professional leadership experience, which may include non-disciplinary leadership roles.
- Global Perspective: While international experience is highly valued, it is not a strict requirement. However, candidates must have worked in an international environment or team for at least one project.
