Purchaser Specialist or Category Buyer

• Manage the supplier portfolio for the plant’s specific categories within SAM (Safety and Motion).
• Analyze price adjustment requests and conduct negotiations to ensure the most competitive pricing for the company.
• Identify opportunities for cost reductions, aiming to achieve the financial targets established in the budget.
• Support the implementation of changes requested by the Engineering and Quality departments.
• Assist the advanced purchasing team by conducting negotiations during the sourcing process and nominating suppliers for plant-specific commodities and categories.
• Develop new suppliers for plant-specific commodities.
• Prepare NSI (New Supplier Introduction) documentation and monitor progress until the action plan is fully completed, where applicable.
• Ensure compliance with VDA 6.3 when an NSI (New Supplier Introduction) is approved, guaranteeing supply quality.
• Participate in logistics and quality discussions when scheduled, representing the commercial area and contributing to business-focused solutions.
• Follow the Global Automotive Procurement Process.
• Join alignment meetings with global category teams.

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business Administration, or related fields
• Fluent English
• Previous experience in the role
