Advanced Electronics & Semiconductor Solutions (AESS) is a specialized division focused on delivering cutting-edge electronic components and semiconductor solutions for high-tech and industrial applications. The organization ensures reliable supply, compliance with global standards, and innovative solutions to meet customer and market demands.

Role Overview:

The Senior/ Principal Supply Chain & Logistics for AESS is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all logistics activities within the AESS business unit. This includes managing inbound and outbound flows of electronic and semiconductor components, warehousing, transportation, and ensuring compliance with international trade regulations. The role is critical for maintaining supply chain efficiency, cost optimization, and timely delivery to customers and production sites.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Planning:
    Develop and implement logistics strategies aligned with AESS objectives, ensuring cost efficiency and operational excellence.

  • Supply Chain Coordination:
    Manage inbound and outbound logistics for electronic and semiconductor products, including transportation, customs clearance, and warehousing.

  • Inventory Management:
    Oversee stock levels, optimize inventory turnover, and ensure accurate documentation for high-value components.

  • Supplier & Partner Management:
    Coordinate with suppliers, freight forwarders, and logistics service providers to ensure timely and compliant deliveries.

  • Compliance & Quality:
    Ensure adherence to international trade regulations, export control laws, and internal quality requirements for sensitive technologies.

  • Process Optimization:
    Identify and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance logistics performance and reduce costs.

  • Team Leadership:
    Lead and develop the logistics team, fostering a culture of accountability and efficiency.

  • Reporting & KPIs:
    Monitor and report on logistics performance metrics, including delivery reliability, cost per shipment, and lead times.

Votre profil

  • Education:
    Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, or a comparable field.

  • Professional Experience:
    Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics or supply chain management, preferably in high-tech, electronics, or semiconductor environments with global supply chains.

  • Industry Knowledge:
    Strong understanding of logistics requirements for high-value, sensitive electronic and semiconductor components, including handling, storage, and transportation constraints.

  • Regulatory & Compliance Expertise:
    Proven experience with international trade regulations, customs processes, export control (e.g. dual-use goods), and compliance in a global business environment.

  • Commercial & Financial Acumen:
    Experience in managing logistics budgets, freight spend, cost optimization initiatives, and performance-driven supplier negotiations.

  • Supplier & Partner Management:
    Demonstrated ability to manage and evaluate logistics service providers, freight forwarders, and warehousing partners on a global scale.

  • Process & KPI Orientation:
    Strong analytical skills with experience defining, tracking, and improving logistics KPIs such as delivery reliability, lead times, inventory turnover, and cost per shipment.

  • Leadership & Communication Skills:
    Proven leadership experience in managing cross-functional teams and effective communication with internal stakeholders, customers, and external partners.

  • Systems & Tools:
    Proficiency in ERP systems (e.g. SAP), logistics management tools, and advanced reporting in Excel or similar analytical tools.

  • Language Skills:
    Fluent in English; additional languages (e.g. Mandarin, German) are an advantage.
