IT Infrastructure - Kubernetes DevOps Engineer (TM)

Your tasks

  • Responsibility for undertaking the development and maintenance of a high quality, reliable, secure Kubernetes platform for Automotive IT and related IT areas;
  • Function for authoritative, independent, and confidential advice in container development operations for internal customers;
  • Cooperation with the team to progress development standards, procedures, and guidelines to improve the deployment process, its scalability, and its reliability;
  • Design, configuration, operation and support of Kubernetes as well as:
    • Responsibility for troubleshoot complex production issues, including performance and function issues;
    • Maintenance  and development of our Prometheus and Grafana monitoring and alerting across our entire infrastructure;
    • Autonomous management of user requests and incidents as well as creation of operational concepts, analysis of the actual constitution and continuous improvement;
    • Design and tracking of development of cloud based solutions based on micro-services to ensure highly scalable, reliable and secure services.

Your profile

Completed academic degree or vocational training in Software Engineering, Information Technology or in a comparable field of studies.



Several years of:

  • experience as an engineer in the environment of cluster deployment and orchestration technologies – e.g. Docker, Kubernetes, Jenkins as well as experience with CI/CD and with an agile DevOps environment;
  • relevant experience with container and container orchestration-frameworks (e.g. Kubernetes) in a production environment as well as with Infrastructure as code (e.g. Terraform) and Version Control with Git (e.g. Github);
  • experience with Linux, Networking as well as experience with automated test and deployment tools and Infrastructure-as-Code (e.g. Jenkins, terraform) and relevant know-how within utilization of AWS and Azure Services mandatory;
  • experience with CI/CD (e.g. Jenkins) as well as Information Security & Service Management preferred;
  • analytical and troubleshooting skills as well as enthusiasm and willingness to get involved in a variety of new technologies.

Fluent in English language both in spoken and written forms.
