Mechanical Engineer

Your tasks

  • Support supplier replacement for mechanical components, including technical assessment, process review, and mass production introduction. 
  • Conduct new supplier qualification and sample approval in accordance with supplier development processes. 
  • Evaluate and determine the technical feasibility of alternative suppliers based on customer or project requirements. 
  • Develop supplier transition verification plans, including performance testing, durability testing, and assembly compatibility validation. 
  • Collaborate with quality teams domestically and internationally to track testing and audit progress during supplier transitions. 
  • Compile supplier transition reports and communicate verification results and related technical matters with customers. 
  • Execute customer-specific supplier transition verification tests and prepare related reports.

Your profile

Skill 

  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of mechanical design, materials, manufacturing processes, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T). 
  • Validation & Testing: Experience in planning and executing mechanical tests, including functional, environmental, durability, and assembly validation. 
  • Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for effective collaboration with suppliers, customers, and cross-functional teams. 
  • Collaboration: Strong teamwork skills to work with purchasing, quality, engineering, and production departments. 

 

Requirements 

  1. Bachelor's degree or above in Mechanical Engineering, Materials Forming, or a related field. 
  2. Open-minded, with a strong sense of teamwork and responsibility. 
  3. English proficiency: CET-6 or above, with good reading and writing skills for technical documentation. 
  4. Fluent Chinese
