Technical Project Leader

Your tasks

· Lead and coordinate the technical development team

· Ensure successful execution of all tasks of product development within the scope of the functional quality, time and cost objectives as agreed with the customer

· Prepare and maintain detailed technical project plans in alignment with project manager and engineering disciplines

· Support the definition of technical concepts

· Coordinate technical quotations by estimating R&D efforts and material costs

· Monitor and control engineering budget, development milestones, deliverables and resources

· Support and maintain technical customer requirements with requirements enigneer

· Lead technical risk assessments and implement lessons learned / best practices

· Support project status reporting with complete R&D inputs

· Provide input for technical product strategy as some experience from running projects

· Coordinate RD related topics with each discipline like production, quality, purchase…

· Support validation activities for DV and PV

· Maintain engineering release process activities respect to development plan

Your profile

· Masters or Bachelor degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or Communications Engineering

· 5 years experience in the automotive industry, experience on Light Control Unit or similar products is preferred

· 3 years experience as product engineering team member in the automotive industry

· Ability to lead and moderate internal meetings and meetings with suppliers or customers

· Ability to work as part of an international team spread over multiple locations

· Strong leadership skills and ability to keep focus while under pressure

· Very good communication skills towards team members, 3rd party suppliers and the customer

· Fluent / advanced level in written and oral English

· Good intercultural sensitivity
