Quality Manager for Products in Production (QMPP)

Your tasks

  • Represent Quality Management in product & production development projects and towards customers during pre-launch, launch and series production.
  • Ensure product and customer quality requirements are understood and implemented within the plant.
  • Manage PPAP process for internal and external customers, handle communication via customer portals, support audits and customer visits.
  • Analyze customer complaints, warranty returns, lead structured problem-solving, initiate corrective and preventive actions.
  • Monitor and improve customer performance ratings and quality KPIs, define countermeasures in case of deviations.
  • Develop and maintain quality-related documentation (control plans, quality plans, requalification plans, audit reports, quality alerts, etc.).
  • Support production teams by coaching on quality methods, audits, problem-solving, and by ensuring non-conforming parts are managed properly.
  • Provide proactive feedback from serial production into product and process design, participate in lessons learned, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

Your profile

  • Technical degree or technical school (or equivalent experience).
  • Work experience in automotive or quality management (recommended, ideally 2+ years).
  • Knowledge of quality methods and standards (Structured Problem Solving, Risk Management, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, Control Plan, Change Management).
  • Understanding of statistics (Weibull, MSA, 6 Sigma, SPC); 6 Sigma Green Belt certification is an advantage.
  • Knowledge of Internal Quality Management Systems (incl. PLC).
  • Experience with SAP (e.g., CQTS), CBS knowledge, and production systems (e.g., MES).
  • Familiarity with external automotive norms and standards (IATF 16949, VDA 6.3, ISO 9001, product liability).
  • Auditor knowledge (internal auditor).
  • Strong MS Office skills.
  • Good English language knowledge.
  • Knowledge in project management is an advantage.
