SAP Inventory/Warehouse Management (IM/WM) Consultant

Your tasks

  • Participate in the different phases/milestones of project implementation
  • Coordinate business requirements and define concepts/solutions for the relevant business processes together with the global competence center, local management, and key-Users
  • Conduct system analysis and provide relevant system configuration (customizing) related to IM/WM (Inventory/Warehouse Management) and EWM (Extended Warehouse Management)
  • Coordination and training of key users and trainers
  • Provide guidance to and share knowledge with the team relating to the area of specialization
  • Support of local departments and key users for implementation and release-upgrades
  • Presentation and implementation of solutions
  • Documentation of business processes and SAP functionality
  • Ensure information flow between the competence center and local departments when launching new or changing business processes
  • Support and define authorization concepts and create roles and responsibilities
  • Provide second-level support of SAP systems in Asia, analyze incident tickets and change requests, and apply preventive/permanent solution
  • Manage own workload to meet assigned deadlines

Your profile

  • Bachelors Degree or equivalent Diploma/Vocational Experience
  • Minimum 2 years related experience, including full cycle ERP implementation for the IM/WM module
  • Must have excellent/hands-on experience in functional configuration and developing functional specifications
  • Preferably with manufacturing experience and business process knowledge
  • Has basic project management skills, including scoping and evaluation of business requirements and the ability to provide relevant solutions
  • With strong problem-solving skills and integration knowledge of other SAP ERP logistics modules
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
  • Good English communication skills, written and verbal, are beneficial
