Your tasks

The Tax and Accounting Manager will cover 75% Tax activities and 25% Accounting tasks.

As Tax Expert will act as the primary tax advisor for Aumovio Italy being responsible for managing and overseeing the tax compliance and advisory activities for the company's operations. The resource will ensure that the company adheres to local tax laws, multinational tax regulations, and international tax agreements while providing strategic tax planning and insights to support business decisions. This role is crucial in ensuring the company’s tax risks are effectively managed and its tax obligations are met efficiently.

Main Tax related tasks will be as follow:

  • Conduct thorough research and analysis on emerging tax legislative changes, providing advisory support to the management
  • Ensure the preparation and filing of direct and indirect tax returns, including VAT, VAT settlements, and periodic VAT declarations for Italy and subsidiaries
  • Support extraordinary, domestic, and cross-border corporate transactions, ensuring thorough review of contracts and compliance activities from both direct and indirect tax perspectives
  • Manage continuous dialogue with Tax Authorities within the Italian cooperative compliance regime, including filing formal requests and risk communications on key tax matters
  • Provide tax advice and support to internal stakeholders, ensuring alignment with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements
  • Manage monthly payments of contributions and taxes through F24 forms
  • Under the supervision of the external tax advisor, calculation of indirect taxes, IRES, IRAP, and tax consolidation, as well as the preparation of other fiscal filings
  • Preparation and management of transfer pricing documentation at European level
  • Assistance in preparing the documents necessary for the calculation of current and deferred taxes and reconciliation of the tax rate of the Group companies
  • Ensure GlobalTaxCenter (GTC) reporting for Italian entities and coordinate inquiries with central departments

Main Accounting related tasks will be as follow:

  • General accounting entries and monthly accruals, contributing to the preparation of the monthly financial statements for group reporting
  • Support the preparation of the annual statutory financial statements in accordance with local civil law requirements
  • Coordinate the annual statutory audit process with external auditors
  • Management of mandatory books

Your profile

What We Are Looking For

  • Proficiency in tax research and document management
  • Degree in Economics, preferrably with a focus on taxation
  • At least 5-7 years of experience in tax, either in tax advisory firm or in tax departments of large Italian or foreign groups
  •  Italian-native speaker
  • Fluent in English (B2/C1)
  • SAP knowledge is preferred
  • Strong knowledge of direct and indirect taxes matters and filling activities
  • Strong knowledge of Transfer Pricing mechanisms and ability to work with Group to align VST matters
  • Ability to align tax strategies with corporate objectives and local tax regulatory landscape
  • Familiar with VAT, direct and indirect taxes and transfer pricing
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to advise management effectively
  • Problem solving oriented
