Serial Life Manager (SLM)

Your tasks

 Responsible for product in plant from G90 until G100
Active involvement in launch and hand over to serial production
Coordination of product related activities, especially the Product Maintenance (see also Improvement/Maintenance above), Change Management, Non-conformance activities
Leads the preparation activities for Phase out of product out of serial production.

Provide Lessons Learned and share Experience Data                
Provide and promote continuous improvements for products and processes and projects in his/her area of responsibility (Involvement in kaizen burst, CBS projects etc.)                
Implement assigned work packages from change management in launching projects or series production in coordination with NPL Manager

Representation of NPL in internal aligned meetings
Represents production plant in design reviews with project team
Provide Lessons Learned and share Experience Data                
Provide and promote continuous improvements for products and processes and projects in his/her area of responsibility (Involvement in kaizen burst, CBS projects etc.)                
Implement assigned work packages from change management in launching projects or series production in coordination with NPL Manager

Your profile

Diploma / BE in E&C or Mechancial with 3 to 5yrs experience

Production technology, processes and test/inspection steps knowledge (SMT, THT, ICT, FA), including database

OEE, MES

Basic technical product knowledge (HW, SW, Mechanical Design, functionality)

SAP Systems (change management, build readiness, logistics readiness - components and customer - Manufacturing BOM)

CBS and Quality Knowledge

Knowledge of key quality indicators (FPY, 0-km ppm, Field PPM, warranty, scrap ratio), documents (8D)

Quality tools and methods for problem analysis, solving (fishbone analysis, 5 Why, etc.)

Process improvement tools (VSM, TPM, Kaizen, Jishuken)

Operations Project Controlling and Reporting    

Knowledge of methods, tools (PLC, LSR, BQR, eCR, R&R, task force, Lean Check, D-FMEA, P-FMEA, control plan, action plan, work instruction, feasibility study, Project checklist incl. Material-, Equipment, Components release- and Documentation checklist)

Sample build plant and Execution

Support the NPLM in the organization of the sample build (check list)

Line and resources booking and Material preparation support
