WBS EMB_Var Mechanic Engineer
Your tasks
- Plan and set‑up test configurations for static, dynamic and system‑level test benches as well as for test vehicles in road trials
- Prepare, modify and take measurements on test specimens
- Design and manufacture mounting parts and auxiliary equipment
- Install, calibrate and commission measurement technology, and carry out test runs
- Produce and inspect wiring harnesses
- Conduct tests on test benches and test vehicles, and perform endurance test drives
- Analyse and document test results
- Carry out maintenance work on test benches and test vehicles
- Analyse malfunctions and faults
Your profile
- Completed technical vocational training as a mechatronics technician, industrial mechanic, electronics technician (m/f/d) or equivalent qualification
- Experience in maintaining machinery, systems, vehicles and tools
- Very good understanding of technical processes and electrical engineering
- Hands‑on experience in mechanical machining using conventional and CNC‑operated machines (desirable)
- Welding work using various welding techniques
- Physical fitness for lifting and positioning components weighing up to 25 kg
- Confident handling of MS Office applications
- Basic English‑language skills
- Strong quality awareness for critical products and product characteristics
- Good communication skills
