Material Planner Analyst

Plan the purchase / disposal of the components and raw material according to the customer's requirements, in addition to checking the quantities of existing components in the warehouse to meet the inventory objectives and cover the production plan.

Main tasks

• Review the raw material inventory of product and service components in the SAP system to determine material coverage.
• Plan and optimize materials stock (planning quantities, reducing waste, keeping stock to minimum, avoiding obsolescences).
• Analyze and maintain MRP (set of requirements), analyze differences and cover releases in base to determine the requirements with the supplier.
• Maintain parameters in SAP system in order to run MRP (MRP views, Source list).
• Confirm sending of releases in SAP system every week.
• Ensure that the supplier receives the releases, send releases to suppliers that do not automatically receive it by system.
• Establish negotiations with the supplier in cases of unmet demand increases and / or requirements within the frozen period (backlog).
• Monitor the air, ground and maritime traffic of raw material with traffic department to ensure reception and goods receipt.
• Maintain communication with the supplier in case of delays in material delivery.
• Coordinate, based on the gross requirement, the priorities for receipt of shipments in transit.

• Bachelor's Degree desirable in Industrial or Mechatronic Engineering 
• Intermediate English 
• Experience: 
  • In Automotive Industry (3 - 5 years)
  • In Inco Terms Standard Trade Terms
  • In Good receipt process + Warehouse Management (shipping process)
