Technical Project Lead - Architecture & Networking Solutions (Telematics) l AUMOVIO Korea

 

Position Overview: The Technical Project Lead (TPL) is responsible for managing and guiding technical projects from inception through completion. This role involves defining project objectives, managing resources, overseeing the project team, and ensuring successful project delivery. The TPL will collaborate closely with various stakeholders, including the global R&D team, to ensure that project goals are met within the designated timelines and budget.

 

Responsibilities

  • Technical Project Management:
    • Lead and manage technical projects, ensuring alignment with organizational goals.
    • Define project goals, including deliverables, schedules, and quality standards.
  • Project Planning and Control:
    • Develop and maintain comprehensive project plans in accordance with company procedures.
    • Control and monitor project budget and resource allocation.
    • Establish effective project organization, including meeting structures, information/knowledge exchange, documentation, and archiving processes.
  • Team Leadership:
    • Lead project team members functionally, providing clear direction and support.
    • Assign work packages to respective project team members, ensuring accountability and progress.
    • Foster a collaborative and productive team environment.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    • Collaborate with the global R&D team and other relevant stakeholders.
    • Negotiate engineering changes and communicate effectively with customers.
    • Manage relationships with internal and external stakeholders to ensure project success.
  • Risk Management and Reporting:
    • Identify and mitigate project risks, ensuring proactive issue resolution.
    • Report overall project status to senior management and escalate issues when necessary.
    • Ensure transparency and regular communication regarding project progress and challenges.
  • Quality Assurance:
    • Ensure that project deliverables meet the required quality standards.
    • Implement and maintain project documentation, ensuring thorough archiving for future reference.

Desired Skills

  • PMP or similar project management experience
  • Experience with Agile or other project management methodologies
  • Familiarity with the specific technical domain relevant to the organization’s project

 

Work Environment: The Technical Project Lead will work in a dynamic environment that requires flexibility and adaptability. The role may involve occasional travel and working with international teams across different time zones.

Ihr Profil

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
  • Proven experience in technical project management, preferably in a related industry
  • Strong Leadership and team management skills
  • Project Leading Experiences
  • Excellent communication and negotiation tools and software
  • Ability to work effectively in a global, cross functional team environment
  • Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail

 

Special Requirements:

  • Customer Management:
    • Proven experience in managing demanding customers, specifically HMC.
    • Strong customer service skills, with the ability to handle challenging customer interactions and ensure customer satisfaction.
  • Global Communication:
    • Fluent in English, with proper written and verbal communication skills.
    • Ability to effectively communicate complex technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
    • Experience working in a multicultural and international environment, understanding cultural sensitivities and adapting communication styles accordingly.
